The RX 350 comes with Lexus Safety System+ 2.0 as standard equipment, including Lane Departure Warning, Lane Tracing Assist (Lane Keeping System), Road Sign Assist and All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (Adaptive Cruise Control). While BMW offers all these features on the X3, most require the purchase of expensive options. The Lexus RX 350 also offers a comprehensive array of protection for the driver and passengers with ten standard airbags- including driver's knee airbag and front passenger's seat cushion airbag.
