ROLE OF THE CABIN AIR FILTER
Since many clients aren't too familiar with the function of this part, we'd like to begin by explaining its primary functions. When the A/C is running, outside air is pulled into the interior, cooled by a refrigerant, and pumped into the cabin to keep everyone comfortable. In order to prevent dust, pollen, and other small particles from contaminating the air you breathe, a filter is put in place to remove these particulates before they reach you. However, as time goes on, this becomes saturated and fails to perform to its potential, which could put you at various health risks if left unchanged. Not to mention, your climate control system might not work as well, which might make summer road trips rather unpleasant.
