MORE MANEUVERABLE
For enhanced maneuverability at all speeds, the LX 570 comes standard with Variable GearRatio Steering (VGRS), which automatically adjusts the steering ratio and response depending on the vehicle's speed. The Escalade doesn't offer a comparable system. Plus, the LX 570 is about twelve inches shorter from bumper to bumper and almost three inches narrower than the Escalade. These steering and size advantages work together to make the LX more agile off road, and easier to park and maneuver in tight spaces.

SAFETY
For enhanced safety, the front and middle seat shoulder belts of the Lexus LX 570 are height-adjustable to accommodate a wide variety of driver and passenger heights. A better fit can prevent injuries and the increased comfort also encourages passengers to buckle up. The Cadillac Escalade does not offer height-adjustable middle seat belts.

The LX 570 has standard Active Headrests, which use a specially designed headrest to protect the driver and front passenger from whiplash. During a rear-end collision, the Active Headrests system moves the headrests forward to prevent neck and spine injuries. The Escalade does not offer a whiplash protection system.

To provide maximum traction and stability on all roads, All-Wheel Drive is standard on the LX 570. This feature costs extra on the Escalade.

  • ENHANCED PASSENGER SAFETY: The Lexus LX offers a comprehensive array of protection for the driver and passengers with 10 standard airbags-including front knee airbags and seat-mounted side airbags for second-row passengers. By comparison, the Cadillac Escalade has just 7 airbags.
  • ADVANCED SAFETY COMES STANDARD: The LX comes with Lexus Safety System+ (LSS+) as standard equipment, including Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) and Lane Departure Alert (LDA). Cadillac requires the purchase of expensive options to offer similar features on Escalade.
BETTER OFF ROAD
The LX 570 offers state-of-the-art off-road capability that Cadillac can't match. The LX features a robust ladder frame, standard full-time four-wheel-drive system with two-speed transfer case, lockable TORSEN® limited-slip center differential, Crawl Control with Turn Assist and Active Height Control. It all works together to offer greater wheel articulation and control to better accommodate rough conditions. The Cadillac Escalade offers an available four-wheel-drive system with a two-speed transfer case, but doesn't offer Crawl Control or an Active Height Control system.

READY TO HAUL
The Lexus LX comes ready to tow with the confidence of built-in Trailer Sway Control. You can add a trailer hitch to the Escalade, but you can't get the added safety of Trailer Sway Control.

ENHANCED LUXURY
In the LX, you'll enjoy standard four-zone climate control with Climate Concierge and available heated and ventilated second-row seats. The Cadillac Escalade only has three-zone climate control and doesn't offer ventilated second-row seats.
